Role Overview

As our Social Media Manager, you will be instrumental in building and enhancing the online brand presence and engagement for our US-based professional services clients. You'll leverage your expertise in social media strategy, content creation, and community management, primarily on platforms like LinkedIn, to foster meaningful connections, establish thought leadership, and support client marketing objectives as a seamless extension of their team. 

What You'll Do

  • Develop, implement, and manage tailored social media strategies focused on professional audiences (primarily LinkedIn, potentially others like Twitter). 
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging and relevant content (text posts, articles, basic graphics, video snippets) aligned with client brand voice and goals. 
  • Monitor social channels for engagement, industry trends, brand mentions, and relevant conversations. 
  • Engage with audiences authentically, responding to comments and messages, and fostering community interaction. 
  • Develop strategies to grow relevant follower bases and increase engagement rates. 
  • Analyze social media performance using platform analytics and potentially third-party tools, tracking key metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, traffic). 
  • Collaborate with Bitbop Client Success Managers, Content Managers, and client points of contact.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports with insights and recommendations for strategy refinement.

What You Bring

  • Must-Have Qualifications & Experience:Proven experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience managing professional social media accounts, particularly B2B presence on LinkedIn. 
  • Field-Specific Mastery: Strong understanding of social media strategy for brand building and engagement, content creation best practices for professional platforms, and community management principles. 
  • Platform Proficiency: Expertise in using LinkedIn (including company pages, groups, analytics). Familiarity with social media management/scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social). 
  • Content Skills: Excellent writing and editing skills tailored for social media; ability to create or source visually appealing content (basic graphic design skills are a strong plus). 
  • Client/Stakeholder Focus: Experience managing social media presence and reporting results for external clients or internal departments. 
  • Language: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop social media plans aligned with business objectives. 
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret social media data and derive actionable insights. 
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage content calendars, schedule posts, and handle client accounts. 
  • Adaptability & Responsiveness: Ability to adapt to platform changes and respond appropriately to online interactions.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience managing social media for professional services firms. 
  • Experience with social listening tools. 
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva) or video editing capabilities. 
  • Experience running paid social campaigns (especially LinkedIn Ads). 
  • Familiarity with content marketing principles. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
